You've helped us reach a historic milestone!
Despite launching the first comprehensive campaign in Colorado State University's history during one of the worst economic climates in generations, we met our goal six months early.
Reaching this milestone is an exciting accomplishment for our University, but I am even more proud of the incredible number of people who have stepped forward to support our students, staff and faculty, and various programs and facilities at CSU.
Nearly 90,000 donors have participated up to this point in the campaign, and more than half are first-time donors to CSU. We reached out to our alumni, and many of them put their money where their hearts are – at CSU. We have increased our alumni donors to 32,323; a 40 percent increase during the campaign,
Here are more campaign highlights
- $508.3 million raised through Feb. 1, 2012
- $59.1 million raised for scholarships
- 15,372 scholarships awarded during campaign
- 485 new scholarship funds established (many include more than one scholarship)

We're excited about reaching our original goal, but this campaign is not over yet.
Private gifts to CSU are more critical than ever as we deal with state cuts to higher education and the increasing need for an educated workforce. These gifts are critical as we continue to strive for excellence and take this great University to the next level.

It is granting opportunity and affordability to more qualified students. It is allowing us to recruit and retain the most sought-after faculty members and researchers in the world. It is renovating historic buildings and building state-of-the-art facilities for generations of students to come.
